I specialize in Couples and Families, Adults and Adolescents (15+), LGBTQIA+, Executive Dysfunction, Depression, Anxiety, Trauma, and Family Systems.
 
I have experience working with families, adolescents, and couples in Social Services, Crisis Support, and those experiencing First Episode Psychosis by offering support and skills training.
 
My journey.
 
I am a northerner transplant from Michigan, having moved through Kentucky prior to landing in Texas. I cut my teeth on psychology with a Bachelor’s from Berea College, which is probably one of the smallest colleges in the US. I spent a few years gaining experience working with couples and families before deciding to go back to school for my master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy from Amberton University. My approach is grounded in Family Systems including intergenerational, strategic, and structural models, but I integrate CBT, DBT, narrative, and solution-focused practices accordingly.
 
How I provide support.
 
Aside from providing supportive listening and skills training, my role is in collaborating with individuals, couples and families to help form a better understanding of each other to facilitate closer, more fulfilling relationships. Through authenticity, humor, and the deeply held belief that you will always know you better than I could ever know you, I work with you to develop meaningful, empowering relationships with yourself and with others around you. Your story is an integral part of you and I look forward to hearing it.  
 
I offer therapy sessions in-person at our Denton office and online.
