Philosophy of therapy and areas of focus

To best understand my approach consider the lingering discomfort as you enter a new environment. The edge-wavering feeling between the desire to live authentically yet trying to hide just enough to go unnoticed. The guard you built up for protection from unsolicited looks or critical remarks getting too heavy. Experiences like these lead me to help those who are working towards trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ needs, identity development, anxiety, and attention regulation.

I try to provide a space to be your authentic self as we collaborate to identify areas where you may feel stuck. My goal as your therapist is to affirm your identity and help you navigate toward self-acceptance.
