My journey

• Undergraduate degree in Psychology from the University of Kentucky

• Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling at the University of Cincinnati

Philosophy of therapy and area of focus

My approach is person-centered and trauma-informed, meaning I center your safety and comfort. I work to empower you to utilize your innate capacity for healing and growth and to uncover the strengths that already exist within you through either EMDR or talk therapy. I typically work with people who have experienced trauma recovery, LGBTQ+ folks, and anyone experiencing significant life anxieties and development challenges.

How I provide support

Counseling is a collaborative process, so I seek to meet you where you are at and walk alongside you in your humanness. If you feel out of place or disconnected, together we can begin to cultivate awareness and intentionality so that you can live life as your most authentic self; and if you’re still figuring out who that is, you’re in the right place.

I offer therapy sessions both online or in-person at our Denton office.
