Stafford Counseling & Consulting
Ashley Stafford is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker-Supervisor (LCSW-S) with specialized training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples. Her therapeutic approach incorporates attachment-focused principles, collaboration, and evidence-based practices to address clients’ individual needs and therapeutic goals.
Individual Therapy
Ashley provides individual therapy for clients seeking support with emotional challenges, past experiences, and personal growth. Her approach incorporates EMDR and IFS to help clients process distressing experiences, explore emotional patterns, and develop greater self-awareness. Sessions provide a structured setting for clients to work toward their therapeutic goals.
Emotionally Focused Therapy for Couples
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) is an approach to couples therapy that focuses on emotional connection, attachment, and relationship patterns. Couples may experience recurring conflict or disconnection that makes it difficult to communicate their needs and provide mutual support.
Through EFT, couples work to identify these patterns, understand the emotions underlying their interactions, address relational injuries, and develop more secure and supportive connections.
EMDR Intensives
EMDR intensives involve extended therapy sessions that allow clients to dedicate additional time to EMDR treatment. This format may provide an alternative to traditional weekly sessions for individuals working through distressing experiences. Suitability and treatment structure depend on each client's clinical needs and goals.
EMDR, Embodied
Integrating EMDR with somatic practices, parts work, self-compassion, and yoga-informed approaches.
In partnership with Texas Christian University's Department of Social Work, EMDR, Embodied is a professional training designed to expand clinicians' understanding and application of EMDR through an integrative approach to trauma treatment.
The training incorporates EMDR alongside somatic practices, parts work, self-compassion, and yoga-informed approaches, with an emphasis on the relationship between trauma, emotional experiences, and the body.
Training Overview
Duration: 5 training days
Consultation: 10 hours
Continuing Education: 30 CEUs
Intended Audience
