Contract Therapist

     Neighbors Counseling is seeking to add more amazing clinicians to our staff! We are looking for those passionate and competent in their understanding of trauma and mood disorders. Our goal, for our therapists, is to offer support for you to flourish as a helper in your own unique way. We offer tools and support for you to care for clients and grow your career. Therapists are encouraged to pursue their own unique style of therapy practice and to see clients based on their individual specialties and schedules. We hope to provide a space for like-minded clinicians to practice and gain a team of support.

Joining our team at Neighbors Counseling provides:

  • Therapists will be independent contracted partners and will receive a competitive rate for services rendered.

  • Ability to see preferred clients based on unique trauma and mood specializations

  • Easy insurance credentialing with major companies (if fully licensed) through Headway

  • EHR and billing software provided

  • A team approach with clinical collaboration and support

  • Knowledgeable team members in areas of Trauma/PTSD, Dissociative disorders/DID, mood disorders. Opportunities to gain training/ peer supervision in these areas if desired. 

  • Healthy work-life balance and encouragement for self-care

 

Experience & Qualifications include but are not limited to the following:

  • Must hold one of the following licenses: LPC or LCSW, and be willing to be paneled with insurance companies. 

  • Be trauma-informed and knowledgeable of mood disorders or interested to learn.

  • Implement experiential therapies or have an interest in learning.

  • Must have full and unrestricted licensure or have the approval of a licensed supervisor 

  • Schedule clients from brief phone consultations  

  • Must be able to assess clients to determine a provisional diagnosis and initial treatment plan

  • Conduct individual, group, couples, or family therapy

  • Complete all required clinical documentation to support services provided

  • If necessary, provide crisis intervention services to clients to ensure risk levels are properly managed and triaged to a higher level of care as appropriate

  • Maintain scheduling of all active clients to ensure clinical needs are being met

  • Collect client payments seamlessly using our EHR, based on quotes received
